The Mount Guest House

The Mount Guest House has been modernised to make it even more comfortable for our guests, yet it has retained all the unique characteristics of a large Victorian house.

ROOMS: All our rooms are spacious and comfortable, and they are all centrally heated. Each room has a colour TV, a clock radio, and tea and coffee making facilities. All but one of our rooms are en-suite. Hairdryers and an iron and ironing board are available on request.

FACILITIES: For those arriving by car, we offer off-road parking. And for guests arriving by train, although we are close to the railway station, we offer lifts to and from it by prior arrangement. We have drying facilities for outdoor clothing so that they are warm and fresh for the next day. Motorbikes, bicycles and panniers may be stored securely in our garage. Please note that we are active participants of the Visit Britain Walkers Welcome Scheme and the Cyclists Welcome Scheme. We provide packed lunches and luggage transfer if requested in advance.

BREAKFASTS: There is a choice of breakfasts, including full English and a vegetarian option. We offer a variety of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and fruit juice.

Where possible, we use the finest quality local produce. We are delighted to be members of the 'Local to Ludlow' scheme which promotes freshly farmed local produce, and is part of Ludlow's growing reputation for excellent food.

Breakfast is usually served between 8.00 am and 9.00 am, although we are happy to cater outside of these times by prior arrangement. Our cosy breakfast room again offers splendid views of the magnificent Shropshire countryside.
